Easel-ly Influenced

Good Morning!

If you haven't noticed already, this week's turning into a Greeting Farm kind of week! Since I have been a little behind in showing you a few of the new digi's that have been released over the past couple of weeks, I thought I'd spend a good portion of this week playing with them. Hope you don't mind! ;)

It's Whimsical Wednesday again and this week our challenge is to create an easel card. It's Mama Jess's favorite thing to make these days, so she challenged us to give it a go. But wait a minute! What's an easel card you ask?? I had to ask the same question. So Jess and Jacquie sent us a link to these awesome instructions and it looked easy peezy!

This is a close up on the coloring of Gothic Roxy; the digi stamp by designer Janet McDonnell. Her images have a real human quality to them and I just love the sweet look on Roxy's face. Even in all her goth clothing, she's still someone's little girl. :)

Here's my finished easel card. Don't laugh! :) It's my first attempt at it so I obviously need some more experience at it. I do love how they fold down into a perfect square card that fits in a standard envelope. Please note that the instructions are for a 4"x4" card but you can make it any size as long as you keep the proportions the same.
Need some more ideas?? Check out what the other daredevils have created:

Please leave a link to your creation on today's Whimsical Wednesday post using Mr. Linky so the Daredevils can check out your creation and leave you some love. And while you're there, check out the amazing creation this week's featured Daredevil, Randi Wall created! :D
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
