We made it! It's Friday and there's only a handful of hours until the weekend sweet peeps! Woohoo!
I have one final card to share with you this week and it's for this month's Designed To Color challenge!!
This month's challenge is being sponsored by my favorite stamp company, There She Goes! Wooohooo! Oh, the challenge? You want to know what the challenge is?! I suppose that would help! lol It's all about what's trending right now - HEXAGONS!!
Since I'm starting my beekeeping adventure soon, I immediately thought of using the Bee Happy set. But I resisted....because that would have been TOO easy! So I went with hexagon paper instead - the other easy route! :)

This sweet image is from the Blossom by Blossom set and I colored it with my favorite (and only) medium - SU reinkers. I used Creamy Caramel for her skin, A combination of Morning Marigold and Crushed Curry for her clothes, Really Rust, Durango and Rich Razzleberry for her hair, Certain Celery and Old Olive for the grass and Cool Caribbean for the sky. The gorgeous hexagon paper is from MME's On The Bright Side collection and the layout is loosely based on this week's Mojo Monday Sketch MOJO284.
I feel a little late to the DTC party AND the hexagon party. Designed to Color has been around for a while now and I'm only just starting to figure out who they are and what they do. They publish a digital magazine quarterly and anyone who can color can submit a card or project to be published! Lots of Trendsetters have been published (both past and present) and up until now, I thought they were only interested in those cards colored with copics.....that's not the case at all!! Even those still stuck in the dark ages (namely...ME!) can submit work! I may have to pluck up the courage and submit something one of these days.....I've got a bit more plucking to do! lol
I hope you can play along with the DTC challenge this month!
Have a great weekend everyone!

So pretty and just so sweet!
Adorable card, Sandra! Love the sweet image...the distressing & stitching are perfect touches. Too fun that we were on the same wave length this week! :)
