Hi again!
I couldn't resist whipping up a card and playing along in this week's Bellarific Friday challenge because I bought a bunch of images a while back and haven't had a chance to ink them up yet - how wrong is that?!
So this week's challenge was all about sewing, or faux sewing. I love to sew on my cards, so this was a no brainer and well, I needed that this week! I colored up Suck It Up Stella with reinkers and an aquapainter and while coloring her, I decided to dedicate this card to me. :) I've moped long enough over my recent employment status and it's time to SUCK IT UP SISTAH! :) I used my sewing machine and did some straight and zigzag stitching all over that yummy K&Company paper.
Thank you to those who left words of encouragement and support. It really did help me yesterday. :) I'm truly grateful to all of you.
Next week, I have sneak peeks for the new stamps from There She Goes, so stay tuned!

Too too cute! I love that you dedicated it to yourself, not because I think you need to "deal" but because it sounds like the cloud has lifted a bit and you're treading a little lighter. So glad to hear that smile in your voice...post. :)
Such a darling card! Love the bright colors.
Oh Sandra, just look at that exquisite watercoloring. Monet: move over! I'm so glad to hear your feeling better. One step at a time and one foot in front of the other. I can't wait to hear how your lunch went today. {{{Hugs}}}
Hugs!! This made me smile!! Gotta love Stella!! Great card!
This card is so cute Sandra. Love your watercoloring and that you dedicated it to yourself.
About the job, I know that you know God will take care of you. This past January I quit my job. My son, who was 9 at the time, was having an emotionally hard time at school. We really depended on my money but we bit the bullet and I quit anyway. I can tell you that God has taken care of us from the beginning. We have had to sacrifice here and there (going out to eat, buying things we wanted but did not need, etc.) but it has been worth every penny. If you decide to find another job God will put one in your path. If not then he will provide for you to stay home with your family. We serve a good God, don't we?
Big hugs coming your way through this holiday season. Hope it's all you want it to be.
Pam
