Good Morning!
You should have seen my inbox after that blog hop yesterday! Holy cow you guys love TGF!! What's not to love right?!
Well I hope you enjoy today's card just as much!
I have had this Charlie With Flower stamp from Whipper Snapper forever now and finally, now that it's closer to Valentines Day, I have a reason to ink him up. I thought he'd look great standing in front of a picket fence, so I used the Mini Fence stamp behind him by masking him off. Again, he's watercolored with reinkers and an aquapainter brush on Strathmore Bristol Vellum. I like this paper because it's smooth, but I'd make sure you're comfortable with watercoloring before using it. It doesn't have as much sizing in it compared to watercolor paper, so you have to be very deliberate with where you put your ink and move fast.
I decided that this week's Sketch Saturday #88 layout was perfect for our sweet Charlie. Since there was so much going on in this sketch, I kept the patterned paper to a minimum so the image wouldn't be too overpowered.
Tomorrow's another Whimsical Wednesday challenge, so I'll see you back here tomorrow. Thanks for stopping by! :)
