Good morning peeps!
How are you all today? I hope my US friends had a wonderful long weekend and enjoyed the time with family and friends. Thank you to everyone who left me birthday wishes last week. It was such an awesome surprise! I had a great birthday and got to eat some yummy food with family. :) I also went looking for my birthday present, a new camera, but sadly Best Buy had run out of the one I wanted. Might have to make an online purchase in the near future. ;)
The There She Goes release of the June sets was a huge success and it's not hard to see why! These sets are beautiful, fun and versatile. When I spied Trendsetter Mercy's Tuesday Sketch challenge, and even though I'm a little late in submitting it, I knew it'd make a great card using the new set, A Woman's Place.
I first stamped the cupboards then the dirty dishes next. Then, using a Micron pen, I drew in the baseboards and the floor tiles. Next I colored up the image using my reinkers and aquapainter brush. For the walls and floor I used Post-It notes to mask off the areas and sponged on the Distress Inks to add color to them.
Don't you love that sentiment?! Sooo funny! I just had to use it on a card because it cracked me up! Love Jessica's sense of humor! :)
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
