Good morning sweet peeps!

I'm so sorry for being MIA again this week. We've been adjusting to the little one being back at school and getting into a routine again. By the time I get out of work and pick up my girl at 5:15pm every day, drive home, start dinner, do homework, take showers and get her ready for bed, I've been dragging myself to bed early too. We're still in the middle of gutting our upstairs bathroom. It's a slow process since we had to fix a lot of dents and markings left on the walls by the old wallpaper trim.

The walls are now painted and we've installed the new trim board and molding. The nails have been punched, wood puttied and sanded. Now I just have to find the time to paint them. The hubby and I are old hands at these mini renovations now, and he knows that he needs to leave the trim painting up to me. His hands aren't as steady as they used to be and I'm pretty particular when it comes to painting the trim.

This is the new light fixture we installed and the new paint color. We're installing that pedestal sink and a big scalloped mirror above it. All our neccessities will be stored in an antique pine dresser. When we're done, I'll share a before and after post with you ... hopefully soon! :)

Since I don't really have a new card to share with you this week, I thought I'd share one of my favorite cards I made for my first month as a Dirty Girl over at Splitcoastampers.

This is one of those cards that just came together so quickly and almost effortlessly. I didn't have to think twice about the paper or the embellishments, which I usually do on a daily basis! I wish all my cards came together this easily! lol The theme for February was Best Buds, so naturally, I used TSG's Puppy Love set because nothing says Best Buds like a kid and their dog! :)

For those of you who played along with some of the TSG's birthday challenges last week, there's still time to get a card or two done before the September 14th 8pm EST deadline!

And just in case you need some shopping therapy... ;)

Well, thanks for dropping by. I hope to be in my craft room a little more this weekend, so the crickets can stop chirping here on my blog! lol

Have a great weekend everyone!

Oooh, your bathroom project looks amazing! We just finished renovating our main bathroom and oh man is that a project! It took us a month of working on it everyday after work but we did it!

I love your card! That image is too sweet and I adore the gorgeous papers you put together!
