Good Morning sweet friends!

Did ya have a good weekend? We had a quiet one, which was so nice for a change. On Saturday The Man had to work, so Little Sunshine and I spent time by the pool and then headed out for dinner and a stroll. Sunday we had breakfast at our favorite little bistro, then we went hunting for wild blueberries on a mountain side. It was quite the hike up the mountain and the pickings were slim, but the panoramic views and the 75 cents per quart price tag was amazing! Fresh wild blueberries on vanilla bean ice cream...PRICELESS! :)

The girls and I had a lot of fun reading all your answers to our feet quiz! You girls cracked me up! Almost everyone voted the same way! The only problem was that not a single person got it right! Hahaha

I'm so sorry I'm posting the winner of the blog candy so late today, but I had to wait until TGF blog hop was officially over before posting anything else. :)

I laughed out loud at a lot of them, then had to explain myself to The Man because I had peeked his interest with all the laughing I was doing. We had an ice storm yesterday. Outside my craft window is a birdfeeder completely encased in ice with one very persistent squirrel trying to climb it - and slipping - and trying - and slipping - getting a pretty sore butt in the process but not giving up. Go squirrel!

Good Morning!

These past several years have been quite trying on me and my small family. We've been through things that, fortunately, most families don't ever deal with in their lifetime. We're just so thankful to be on the other side of them now. So much so, The Man and I have said many times over these past few days how thankful we are for the opportunities that have come our way recently. It's been such a blessing to us and now I want share some of our gratitude with you all.

Hello again!. :)

I am starting to really love Bellarific Friday's! I chickened out on last week's sketch, but this week's one was much more forgiving! haha I recently ordered a bunch of Bella's (thanks to these few week's of full time work) and even though I haven't inked them up yet, I think I need to order some more! LOL (Truth be told; I have the order ready to go in my shopping cart as we speak!)

Pregabella was an image I was given by a sweet SCS friend and I had colored her up while waiting for my own Bella's to arrive. Lord knows how I wish I looked like Bella when I was pregnant. Unfortunately, I looked more like Heffalump! LOL

I used dovetailed ribbon ends for the three horizontal panels in the sketch. Against the fun Cosmo Cricket paper, they really pop! Only needed to show a little bit of that ribbon since it's so bold. I didn't want it over powering the image. This card is going to a friend of mine who is expecting her third child. I am getting cluckier by the day! I think I need that new baby smell in this house again. :)

And now for the blog candy I promised you! I hit 50,000 visits last week sometime and I want to say thanks you to you all for taking the time to visit my blog and for all the sweet comments you leave! Ever since I caught the stamping bug in March of last year, I feel like my card making skills have grown leaps and bounds, and I've had the most amazing opportunities come my way because of this hobby I've grown to love. I've also made the most loyal and amazing friends on SCS that you could ever imagine. And today, I continue to have fun card making because of their support and friendship (oh, and my husband's support too!).
