Good Morning!

Well, I didn't get back to my craft room this week. It's been pretty cold here in the New Hampshire and I've been trying to keept he wood stove going each night. But while I've been sitting by the fire, I've been wandering all over Etsy enjoying all the green that has been popping up! Spring has to be on it's way! There's something for everyone today!

Good Morning!

So, minus a few new additions to the bathroom, we've almost finished with that room. My attention is now shifting to the laundry room that you enter before entering the bathroom. Right now, it's utilitarian. Nothing fancy about it at all. Not that I want fancy, but something other than a mundane purely functional room would be nice. I'm not asking too much, am I?!

Here's some yummy things I found on Etsy to jazz up the space!

Every good housewife needs a stylish looking apron and this one fits the bill! It's super cute and fun! I might even get The Man's attention in it! :)

Ok, so if you can get past the whole diaper pail thing, this is actually a great bucket! Looooove the vintage label and the enamel is fabulous!

The Man thinks this is corny but I think it's great! It's fun and who doesn't need a little bit of fun in their laundry room?!






Vintage Hardware
Do you know what this is?? It's an old pulley system for a washing line. I could hook it back up again and hang delicates or even cards on it!





Lake View Vintage
Can you believe these are unused boxes of lux soap flakes?! My mum still uses lux flakes to handwash her delicates. I would do the same too, but sinks aren't standard in American laundry rooms. :(

I love these old washboards! Only I don't need this one - I picked up a pressed metal one from a local auction for $6! I can't wait to use it as a prop!

Good Morning sweet peeps!


So because we've been busy repainting our bathroom this week, I went looking for some vintage things to decorate it with. And there's one thing that Etsy has more of than handmade items is vintage things! :)



Virginia Wyoming
The bathroom is mainly white and beige but I was given a beautiful Waverly valance from a friend with lots of vintage blues in it. So this soap dish would go so well in the room! And even better than that - Virginia Wyoming lives minutes from me! :)

How cool is this for liquid soap?! I love it! Infact, I think I could make this!

Can you say 'GORGEOUS'?!?? Not that its particularly vintage or anything, but this coral could look great in any room of the house!








Rosa Meyer
I've been on the lookout for something to hold some flowers or branches on my vanity and I think I just found it! I was favoring an ironstone jug, but they're out of my price range. This is priced just right. :)










Two Girls Shop
This piece just reminds me of my Grandmothers brush. The one I used to use to brush her hair every evening when I stayed with her. :) Great memories.

Good morning everyone!

Since it was Australia Day this week, I thought I'd find out what Etsy had for sale from Down Under! Though there wasn't a lot, what I did find was FABULOUS! Check it out!

Hilarious shop name, but how cool are these pillows?! They even had some with maps of New York, Chicago and Boston!

How stinkin' cute are these owls?! It's a brooch and did you notice the cut out hearts between the two?? Adorable!

These bibs remind me of the ones my mum used to sew and sell at flea markets when I was a kid....only more modern! :) Hey, if you're going to be a messy eater, you might as well look stylish doing it! :)

Good morning everyone!

I'm so thankful it's Friday and the weekend is just around the corner. We're heading to The Christmas Tree Shop tomorrow. It's full of stuff you really don't need, but buy anyway. I'm on the hunt for some electric window candles for our place. I have always loved the look of these candles in the windows of old houses that can be seen all over the New England area and now I get to do this tradition in my own house! :) I can't wait!

Happy Black Friday!

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday! I know I did - I ate too much, as usual. :) Are you enjoying a quiet day at home or shopping till you drop today?? Or are you one of the unfortunate ones, like me, who has to work today? I'm bumming that I'm not at home today, but thankful that I don't have a job in retail! Phew! What a job that would be today!
