TGIF!!

Friday, November 14, 2008

I'm so done with this week, aren't you?! I want to be home, with my family hanging out watching a movie while it's dark and rainy outside. Yeah!

As is with every Friday, today is Hanna Stamps Challenge Day over at SCS! This week's challenge, HSC43, is brought to you by the talented Jeanette Olen. It's a sketch challenge, so get out your Hanna Stamps or Riley's and start stamping!! (If you don't have any Hanna Stamps, don't let that stop you.)

When I started this card, I knew I wanted to create a warm, cosy kind of card but the vintage look that it has just kind of morphed on it's own!

Today I'm using the 'Get Well Hanna' set from Hanna Stamps which was released last week. I sponged the edges of the patterned paper with my Ranger Distress Inks 'Vintage Photo'. The piece of deep red cs is the other side of the orange harlequin paper! Then I stamped out the box of tissues first, masked it off with a post it note, then stamped the side table over it. I sponged the edges of this piece heavily in DI 'Antique Linen and Vintage Photo'. The side table was watercolored with the Vintage Photo ink and the box of tissues with SU Pumpkin Pie, Cranberry Crisp and Soft Sky. I added the ribbon and charm last. The charm is from Hanna Stamps too! If you haven't already, I suggest you check out their range of charms - there is a charm to match every stamp set and Riley that Hanna Stamps sells!! Don't believe me? Check it out here!

Happy Friday everyone!!
