Hanna Stamps Sneak Peeks: Day One

Friday, April 3, 2009

Rise and shine girls!! It's time to take out your rollers, put your knee-high stockings on and pull your big girl pants up! Yes, it's Hanna Stamps sneak peek time again and this month it's a tribute to the old folks.

Introducing Granny Hanny!

She can accessorize, her handbag is lethal and you'd better not mess with her lawn! Isn't she a hoot? I just had the best time creating these cards with this set! Granny Hanny is so fun to color up and wait till you see this set in full - you'll bust out laughing for sure!

Between the two cards, I've used 5 of the 11 stamps from this set. Granny Hanny is the main image and then she has a bunch of accessories like the goggle glasses, the prune juice and the cup of teeth. The teeth just crack me up! See if you can spot some others in the sneak peeks the rest of the design team girls have for you this weekend!

As always, I watercolor the images, this time on Georgia Pacific cardstock for it's smooth appearance. The layout for the second card came a Sweet & Sassy sketch from Hanna Alumni girl, Janette Olen's blog. I found the patterned paper at Michaels recently and couldn't believe how perfect it was for this set! Can you guess what the collection is called? Grandma's Kitchen! Perfect right? :D

I hope you all enjoyed today's sneak peeks. I will have a new moose for you tomorrow! As always, thanks for popping in!

Oh goodness I just about had a granny moment because I was laughing at this set and just about peed my pants! This is fabulous. The teeth are a riot and your coloring sheer perfection as always. I saw a few other peeks like the prego leady and Hanna sooo came up with the perfect baby bump.
