Because he was driving his Ford pickup of course!
I think this just might be my favorite Anna Wight/Whipper Snapper stamp I own. Not that I own a huge collection, but this one just makes me smile every time I see it. :) Who knew chickens could drive?!
On Monday night I sat at my craft table flicking through my binders trying to decide what image to color up and Mr Chicken practically jumped off the cling sheet at me! ;) The fact that my car broke down that day might have had something to do with it. Apparently it was a broken coil or something like that. Thank the Lord it was an easy fix this time! So on Monday night, coloring was my therapy. :)
Again, I used reinkers and an aquapainter to color this image. From start to finish, it took me about 45-60 minutes to color and that's including waiting for the layers of color to dry. I left some highlights, but I also used a white Gelly Roll pen to add some extra highlights. The plaid patterned paper and stitching really pull this image together don't you think? I'm going to have to get myself some more of that polka dot ribbon. It's from Michaels in that $1 rack of mini ribbon reels. Loooooove it!
Thank you so much for stopping by today. Tomorrow I have a Riley card for you!
