Happy Birthday There She Goes!

Tuesday, August 25, 2009

Good Morning Everyone!

As I was blog surfing yesterday, I saw that There She Goes clear stamps are having a birthday bash all week long to celebrate their first anniversary. My first reaction was 'They're only a year old?!' It seems like they've been around for much longer. They're celebrating this milestone with a big birthday bash full of challenges, games and give aways. Everyone loves give aways; including me! The first challenge, TSG17 Jessica posted is to create a birthday card. Easy peesy!

I pulled out one of the sets I got to play with during my guest trendsetter position a couple of months ago. It's called Bloom and it's still my favorite floral set ever!

I used this week's Weekend Sketch Challenge WSC94 for the layout and the sentiment came from an Inkadinkado set called Nostalgia, which I found at Michaels. The patterned paper is from K&Company and I practically got it for free! I was checking out at Michaels a few weeks back and the cashier noticed (my fetish) the K&Company purchase and turned around to dig something out of a cart she had behind her. She pulled out this Lemon Drop stack and said it was being discounted to $3. Shut up!!? Seriously? Hand it over lady! Actually, I was much more polite than that, but I was definitely thinking it! LOL

Anyway, I just wanted to say Happy Birthday to Jessica and to her company, There She Goes. I wish you many, many more anniversaries to come!

Thanks for stopping by today!

Sad, but one of the cashiers at my Michael's knows about my paper addiction too. When they have sells or I have a coupon she would say I was expecting you in here. This is a fabulous pack of papers and I love the ones you used in this card. So bold and vibrant. Just gorgeous!

This is beautiful! I would have found it very hard to pair up flowered paper with a flowered image, but this is absolutely perfect and I love how the paper enhances and complements the image! Totally Fab!
