Who Had The Big Idea?!

Good Morning!

I'm sure that around this time of the year, Turkey's all over the United States start to wonder who they have to thank (or not) for the honor of being the main dish every Thanksgiving! I can't help feel a little sorry for them. I mean, if they weren't such fugly birds, I'm positive they wouldn't have been the main course that first Thanksgiving! Think about it; peacocks are beautiful and we don't eat them! Poor guys. Why do they have to taste so finger-licking good?! :)

In honor of this very delicious holiday, I created my first Thanksgiving card of the season!

I know what you're saying; It's too early to be thinking about Thanksgiving! Yes it is, but this little guy was just pining for me to color him up and well, how could I resist that face?! :) His name is Tucker and he's one of the new stamps recently released from Whipper Snapper Designs. Such a cutie! Again, he's colored up with reinkers and an aquapainter brush on some watercolor paper. I found this old sheet of Scenic Route paper in my stash and I'm so glad it worked so well with this image. It always feels good to use up paper that I've had in my stash for a while. I can't bring myself to get rid of them because eventually, they will be used!

Did you guys have a good weekend?! The Man certainly did. He went and bought himself a humongous plasma TV for our anniversary! I would have been mega-peeved had it not been for the fact that the day before he came home with this beauty and some of these for my craft desk. I married a smart man. ;)

Toodles!
