Hello!
So this past Tuesday was supposed to be my little girl's first day playing soccer, but about an hour before she was supposed to play, we had a crazy thunderstorm pass through town and all the games were cancelled! Syd was pretty upset, but it was probably a good thing that it was cancelled because Syd had just had her 5 year check up and was given three vaccinations! Hopefully today is the day she plays...but thunderstorms are in the forecast, so we may have a sad little girl on our hands again. :(
Speaking of little kids, I have another Puddle Jumper card for you today!
Last week I had him all dressed up in his cute little black tux, and then I saw the cards of all the girls from the design team and I just HAD to dress him in jeans and a blazer! :) The girl Puddle Jumpers are cute, but the boys are too adorable!
As usual, I colored Sammy with my reinkers and aquapainter brush on some Strathmore Bristol Vellum paper. I used SU inks on his body and some Distress Inks (Antique Linen and Tea Dye) on his hair. I like the ash blonde look these inks create. The layout came from Friday Sketchers challenge blog (#100) and I couldn't resist using some more Cosmo Cricket paper! Did you know that you can buy your CC paper directly from their online website? It's awesome because they still have some of that fabulous Mr. Campy paper! :D
Claudia told me that you guys loved this new release of Puddle Jumpers as much as we did because she's swamped with orders! We're soooo glad you love them as much as we do! If this is your first time you've seen these cuties, then you NEED to check out the rest of them!
Thanks so much for stopping by today!
