TSG:A Woman's Place Blog Hop!!

Tuesday, May 25, 2010

Welcome to the first blog hop for the June There She Goes releases!

Today the Trendsetters are showcasing hilarious A Woman's Place set! Now, don't be fooled - it's not what you think! :) If you've hopped here from Pam's delicious blog, then you're on the right track, but if you haven't and would like to play along with us, just hop on back to the TSG blog and start your ride there. Remember, you could win this fabulous set just by hopping with us today!

Have you ever slaved away in the kitchen for hours only to get an "It's alright" comment or ever used your family as food guinea pigs and had them be glued to the porcelain bowl for the rest of the night? If the answer's yes, then you NEED this set! *grin*

There are still a few people who think that a woman's place is in the kitchen, but I think we all know where our real place lies...THE CRAFT ROOM! Am I right?! Hehehe This set has all the wise cracking sentiments you'll ever need to make the loved ones in your family a card they'll never forget! And as is with most of the TSG sets, this one works fabulously along side some previously released sets, like Domestic Goddess and Craftier Taglines.

Jessica sure knows how to give you more bang for your buck because this one is jam-packed with 34 stamps! Can you guess how many I've used in this card?? I'll give you a hint - it rhymes with VINE! ;) I stamped out the oven, the burning frying pan, the two side cabinets, the upper cabinet, the utensil rack as well as the glass and bottle of wine. Then I used a ruler to draw in the base trim to ground the scene. I did end up using a stampamajig to line up some of the pieces, but if you look closely at the frying pan - apparently I still can't line things up! Hehe Then it was just a matter of coloring up the whole image with my reinkers and aquapainter. I borrowed this week's Cute Card Thursday sketch for my layout and used papers from Bo Bunny.

Did you enjoy all the sneak peeks?? So much eye candy from all these fabulous designers right?! Sadly, this is the end of the end of the hop. :( Please head back to the TSG blog and leave your name in the Mr. Linky at the bottom of the post so you can be in the random drawing to win your very own A Woman's Place set!

Thanks so much for playing along today!! and I hope to see you all hopping along with us tomorrow for our second sneak peek! :)
