Inchie Redux

Happy Friday to you all!

What are your plans for the weekend? It's supposed to be super nice here in NH and hubby has the weekend off, so we're planning a bush walk (AKA a hike!) and picnic.

Yesterday's coffee card was so dramatic with all the sponging and rich colors, that I decided to change it up a bit and create spring feeling with the same Rubbernecker inchie stamps.

I used this week's Card Positioning System's sketch challenge CPS112 for this layout. The Cosmo Cricket paper is light and airy and perfect for the change up. I stamped the tea inchies onto Very Vanilla cardstock, then puched them out with a 1" circle punch. Then I matted them with pink cardstock. The diagonal strip was cut from VV and matted onto cream Bazzil cardstock of which the edges were cut with decorative scissors. Then I matted that onto the plain side of the patterned paper and ran another pair of decorative scissors down the edges of it. Added some ribbon, twine, a cute teacup charm and I was done.

The sentiment is covering up my first attempt and I wish I hadn't stamped it there. Oh well, practice makes perfect, right?

Tomorrow is the Doggone Stamps blog hop which starts at 10am EST over at Lauri Ingram's blog, Paperville. You'll want to hop along because I've heard there are prizes up for grabs! :)

I appreciate you stopping by today and I hope you have a wonderful weekend whatever it is you're doing. :D

This is very cute and very springy(is that a word?). I did the same thing with a sentoiment for my dog hop card. But it has been replaced with something so much more appropriate.

Pretty!!! I LOVE the layout!! So fresh! And great job putting the 2 coffee/tea cards against each other. I like the contrast. Oh, my how I love the sparklies on the images too! This is soooo wonderful!

This weekend should be pretty laid back. I told DH if I get my cards done, I'll clean the garage. We'll see. LOL! Can you ever really be done with cards?? ;)

Sandra this layout is so cute with those images and I love the colors you choose to use!!! One of the things I love about you (is not how often you choose to use that aweful color Br**n) but how you will use so many different color schemes!!!

I love all your cards and as long as I have my Br**n FREE glasses on then I will always keep coming to see your lovely creations!!!

You have such a wonderful personal style!!!

Heather
