Good Luck Blog Hop!

Hellooooooo Blog Hoppers!!!

EDITED: Thank you to everyone who played along on this blog hop - comments are now closed.

If you've stumbled onto my blog today and are wondering what the heck is going on, let me explain:

Since it's Friday the 13th Kristi thought she would disperse any thoughts of it being a day of bad luck by having a Hanna Stamps Good Luck Blog Hop! If you haven't jumped on my blog from the fabulous Candice Lightly's blog then you may want to start at the beginning at Kristi's blog and follow the bread crumbs. You definitely don't want to miss any of the awesome creations the Hanna Stamps Design Team have created for you today!!

For playing along in the blog hop with us, you can score yourself a mystery goodie bag from Mrs Kristi herself! Who knows what might be in that bag.....that's part of the fun! You have all weekend to play. I'll randomly pick a winner and on Monday Vicki will post a winners list in the Hanna Stamps forum on SCS! Just leave me a comment on this post telling me one time when you seriously rocked it! Mine was when I used to play Netball. We were in a unisex Division A league. Netball is predominantely a woman's sport, but the men like to think they can play our game. Anyway, at the end of the season I won the trophy for MVP - beating out all the other women and men in that division. I rocked it that year! LOL I can't wait to hear your story!

So what's a blog hop without a card right?!

Today also happens to be the Hanna Stamps Friday Challenge and this week's challenge is to use diamonds on your card. It can be a diamond shape or an embellishment. The only diamond paper I owned was this green one and it's appropriately called 'Hallowhimsy'! Ha! It was meant to be I guess. If you'd like to play along with this Friday challenge, head over to the Hanna Stamps SCS forum to get all the details. Remember, anyone who plays along in the Friday Challenges get their name included in a drawing each month for a free Hanna Stamps set! Worth making a card for right?!

Also. through the month of March, you can use the code March and get 10% off your order at Hanna Stamps!

Ok, I've kept you long enough; hop on over to the talented Judy Workman's blog to see her amazing creation and for another chance to win a goodie bag!

Thanks for stopping by today and GOOD LUCK!!

So.... one of the times I seriously rocked it, huh? Well, I do gift processing for nonprofits as my day job. One day, a few years ago, I entered 500 gifts, including many names and addresses associated with those gifts, in one day. It was the most any of my coworkers had ever seen done in one day. It took 9 hours straight and I drooled for the rest of the day, but it was a superstar moment.
Long answer, short question. : )

Love the card!!! I seriously rocked it when I used to play volleyball. I'm not a "bragging" type of person, but I was a great volleyball player. Never missed a season since I was in grade 6...even played when I was pregnant...until 2006 when I blew out my knee...no more for me..
but I rocked it while I could!

Wow...let me think. I bake bread and I give people my recipe and have had many come up to me and tell me that their bread doesn't come out like mine.....I don't know why? I don't measure things exactly so maybe that's the reason? So I guess I rock at bread making! Anyway, I love your card! You rock!

Wow what a great question! so at first I thought "wow what a loser I am" because I couldn't think of anything! but this might count. My Husband was injured at work about 8 yrs ago. after multiple surgeries that left him with limited use of his good arm, he was retrained. So in his 40's, he had to get his gr 12, & go to College for 3 yrs. A huge accomplishment! So I planned a big surprise grad party for him last June after he graduated, with family & friends. I managed to pull it off, without him suspecting, he was totally surprised & overwhelmed, it was great! So with the help of family & friends, I totally rocked it that day, he deserved it!

I love your card, the colouring is awesome!

I was reading when others had Rocked It...and wondering when I felt like I had really rocked it. A few came to mind, but I think the one my family will most likely agree to is a photo slide show I did for my FIL's funeral. He passed away unexpectedly and I agreed to do a phot slide show set to music...something I had never done before but was just dablling in the software. I started at 8:00 pm and worked straight through until 10:00 am the next day when we had to meet witht he priest to make arrangements. It was a 17 minute slide show set to music that spaned his nearly 80 years of life. I made a copy for each of the three son's and seven grandchildren. A lovely tribute to a wonderful man.

I totally rocked when I managed to collect over 350 quart and gallon size paint cans decorated for Christmas and filled with treats to send to my son's base while he was deployed in Afghanistan. So many ladies from across the US and other countries came together to let these group of soldiers know that they were not forgotten.

I had to read the other comments to see if anything came to mind when "I" rocked it. So ... back a few years ago, I was a volunteer coordinator for my son's elementary school. I was in charge of making something for each of the teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week. I made 83 altered clipboards. I rocked with them that day! (And I don't care if I ever see another altered clipboard again!) LOL

great topic - the first thing that popped into my head was when i was in college i entered a lip syncing contest at a waterpark - strutted it out in my black and white polka dot swimsuit - and won! i even have it on video tape - it's quite hysterical really. but i am really incredibly shy - esp. then - and so for me to do something like that -

Love your creations. When I seriously rocked???? I guess at my job previously - I also acted as managing editor for a medical textbook and without me, I don't think it would have ever been published. It was a tremendous amount of work. I knew I wouldn't be able to handle all the kuddos so I didn't go to the book presentation. But, I did enjoy all the E-mails and phone calls from people telling me about it!

Hi...nice take on the card..u all did such nice ones! ty for the chance..

Rocked it! Well my son is at the USAFA. Last year he was a freshman...very tuff year there. The parents of the frosh decided to do a secret spirit mission to honor and recognize these 1000 cadets for such a great accomplishment known as Recognition. We brainstormed, we collected funds, we plotted...all in secrecy. We decided on creating a special coin for each of them (we did many things also)but the fall out from this has been wonderful. I found a coin holder and shared with the parents...most ordered it...and I very luckily connected with a great mom in Colorado who took delivery, wrapped each one and then arranged delivery to a highly secure USAFA..I felt I rocked! to get this handled without a hitch! But my fellow parents made it happen...sorry to be so long-typed LOL cher

Well I'm thinking Kristi totally "Rocked" the idea of this Blog Hop cause I have fallin in love with this Rocker Chic! And before I started this Hop Along, I was not even thinking of her as a purchase!
Smart move Kristi!!
